Born in Bethlehem, he grew up on a cherry farm in the Eastern Free State.  He mastered playing guitar on the very young age of only five years. Anton is a popular songwriter and some of his work can be heard on albums such as “Bly By My” of Juanita du Plessis (“Adijy Adijou”)’ and  “Altyd Joune” (and various others) from Karen Ferreira’s album titled “Altyd Joune”.

Anton is signed at Fantasia Music where even before official release his album “Jakaranda” showed great sales.  Tours with Robbie Wessels and Wynand Strydom gave the country some idea of what is to come.
