South African Brother band Kirsten Richard (24) and Kyle Joshua(17) Schlebusch made their debut to the South African music scene in April 2022, with their Afrikaans hit single “Hey Sonneblom”.  Within one week the song charted on digital music platforms such as Applemusic, Spotify and South African Charts such as Maroela Media.

Droomsindroom released their first EP in September 2022 named “Aansteeklik” (English meaning: contagious) and it consist of five tracks.  It has been rated within one week the number one album on Apple music South Africa (Genre Afrikaans). Since the EP release, they also released singles in 2023 named “Ek Ly aan” (English meaning: I suffer from), “Dans alleen” (English meaning Dancing alone) and “Plek vir my” (Place for me). These singles charted on the Apple Music South African “Afrikaans” genre. Their music can be described as a new and fresh sound with elements of Afri-pop.
