Margit Meyer-Rödenbeck

Margit Meyer-Rödenbeck is a celebrated South African comedian, actress, cabaret performer, and theatre producer, best known for her iconic alter ego, “Dowwe Dolla.”

Born in Paarl in the Western Cape, she studied drama and theatre management at Stellenbosch University before building a successful career in comedy and stage performance.

Known for her sharp satire, blonde bombshell persona, and uniquely South African humor, Margit has been a fixture in Afrikaans entertainment for more than two decades.

In addition to her comedy work, she has appeared in television productions, children’s theatre, and cabaret shows.
