Margit Meyer-Rödenbeck, also known as Dowwe Dolla, born in Paarl, Western Cape, is a South African actress, comedian, social commentator, and theatre producer, best known for her stage character, Dowwe Dolla.
After matriculating from Durbanville High School, Margit began studying Drama at the University of Stellenbosch in 1988. She obtained her honours degree in 1991 and her master’s degree in theatre management in 1997.
